游戏风格和《终极刺客》差不多，自由度很高，玩家可以充分按照自己的思路来完成任务樱者。
C键、V键、F键、Capslock键、空格键是主要动作，V键是最安静的行走方式，不会惊动感觉灵敏的敌人，但行走较慢。T键是口哨，B键是望远镜，L键是疗伤，使用狙击步枪时，右键打开远视镜，再按右键不放表示摒住呼吸，这样可短时间内稳住枪身。
蓝色感叹号和蓝色1、2、3是表示可以辅助完全任务的事件，蓝色头像图示表示可以换上军服的地方，当然你也可以找自己认为合适的目标来下手换服装，换上级别高的军官服或其他特殊服装，一些红色敌人就会变成绿色敌人了。悄悄走到敌人背后可以勒死或打晕或迷倒（视你手中的工具而定）。勒死或打晕或迷倒的敌人可以换衣服，而用飞刀、枪或手榴弹杀死的则不可以换。走到尸体跟前，会出现操作提示：1扛起尸体、2换衣服（只有勒死或打晕或迷倒出现）、3搜索尸体、4设置一个诡雷等。
O键是当前位置和任务处，TAB键切换地图，蓝三角是主角，此陪绿三角是可以不用躲避的敌人，红三角则是需要躲开的敌人，出现红三角敌人时，画面上方出现提示符，长满红杠后就会向你开枪。躲开走动的敌人主要是利脊扒薯用时间差，然后找地方隐藏。
